The artist Vladislav Mamyshev-Monro, a genius of transformation, portrays his own passions in front of the camera - passions that take hold of all of us at times and are reflected in our faces. This is why we recognize them in the face of the artist, but are nevertheless convinced that terms like "in a face maddened by passion" have no relevance to our own faces. For us the reflection of passion is acting: Pierrot, Petrushka, to whom Vladislav Monro boldly stretches out a hand from modern times, being certain, however, that "in time mad passions desert the rational person".
